09-04-2025

PRESS RELEASE
Craiova, Romania – April 2025

Asociația Tinerii 3D is proud to announce the launch of a new Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project titled “Youth for a Healthy Sexual Life”, running from 1 March 2025 to 31 October 2025. This initiative brings together young people from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, and Italy to promote open, respectful, and informed discussions around sexual education and healthy relationships.

This international project will culminate in a nine-day Youth Exchange in Craiova, Romania, where 45 young people (ages 16–20) and their team leaders will engage in a series of interactive workshops, non-formal learning sessions, and creative activities. Together with two experienced facilitators, they will explore topics such as:

  • Safe sex and the importance of protection
  • Healthy relationships and consent
  • Access to sexual health services and check-ups
  • Cultural perspectives on sexuality and identity
  • EU opportunities for youth and community engagement

Project Objectives

  1. Equip 45 participants with essential knowledge and skills related to sexual health and relationships.
  2. Launch national awareness campaigns reaching at least 600 young people per country, tackling issues like unprotected sex, healthy emotional connections, and access to services.
  3. Empower participants to act as multipliers and peer educators, impacting at least 10 people each in their communities through follow-up activities.
  4. Inform and motivate young people to engage in European opportunities such as Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps.

Project Partners

This project is implemented in collaboration with strong youth-focused organizations:

  • FUTURE HUMANS – Bulgaria
  • Diverse Youth Network Association – Hungary
  • WE GO – Lithuania

“Youth for a Healthy Sexual Life” isn’t just about learning – it’s about breaking taboos, building confidence, and creating a ripple effect of positive change across Europe. By engaging young people in open dialogue, we are fostering safer, healthier, and more inclusive communities.
