MindHACK Youth Exchange

22-10-2026

MindHACK brought together young people from five European countries in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, to explore modern addictions, digital habits and the psychology behind our everyday choices. The Erasmus+ youth exchange was hosted by NGO “New Way”.

Through theatre, presentations, brainstorming and group discussions, participants explored the role of dopamine in habits and motivation. They shared experiences and reflected on their relationship with technology.

Activities without phones gave participants time to connect, work together and enjoy shared experiences offline. Cultural exchange and friendships across borders were also an important part of the exchange.

The project aimed to help young people recognise their habits and triggers, explore practical ways to improve focus, and build a healthier balance between online and offline life. It also encouraged critical thinking, teamwork and communication across cultures.

Participants are now sharing their experiences and ideas through local activities in their communities, bringing the conversation about digital wellbeing to more young people.

MindHACK is funded by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme.
