About “Build and Grow” – Training Course in Saint-Saud-Lacoussière, France

Youth workers representing Tinerii 3D took part to the first part of the “Build and Grow” Training Course. The project represented a range of methods that reflect the diverse practices of permaculture and eco building. It relates the idea of sustainable development and the possibility of using the environment in a sustainable manner as a resource for youth in rural and urban areas and also fosters ideas for youth to establish businesses respectful of the environment in local communities such as organic farming, eco-tourism and community development projects. The project is designed that the same youth workers will take part to all parts of it:

• Preparation at home for TC1
• A1 – Training Course on Eco Building ( Saint-Saud-Lacoussière, France) . Output: Building a kerterre and dry toilets
• Local action #1 – use skills, methods, tools acquired during A1 by the implementation of a local activity related to eco building in each partner country
• Preparation at home for TC2
• A2 – Training Course on Permaculture (Deshaies, Guadeloupe)
• Local action #2 – use skills, methods, tools acquired during A2 by the implementation of a local activity related to permaculture in each partner country

So we are really excited and we look forward for the next parts of it.
