Erasmus+ Training Course – Skillseeder

18-08-2026

Project No. 2025-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000297371-SM-PDA-P-5

How can youth work contribute to a greener and more sustainable future?

During Skillseeder, youth workers, teachers, volunteers and educators from Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, North Macedonia and Türkiye came together for 10 days to exchange experiences, develop new competences and explore practical ways to promote environmental sustainability through youth work.

Throughout the training course, participants took part in a wide range of interactive activities, including:

🌍 Understanding climate change and environmental challenges

♻️ Exploring the European Green Deal and green transition

🌱 Developing practical green skills for everyday life and youth work

🧠 Designing educational activities focused on sustainability

🥾 Connecting with nature through hiking and mindfulness activities

🤝 Sharing cultures and good practices during international evenings

💡 Brainstorming future Erasmus+ project ideas on environmental topics

🎥 Creating dissemination videos and awareness materials to inspire other young people

One of the most valuable outcomes of the project was the exchange of ideas and good practices between organisations from different countries. Participants strengthened their competences as youth workers while building new international partnerships and developing concrete ideas for future cooperation.

The video created during the project shares participants’ reflections on what they learned, how the experience inspired them, and why protecting our environment starts with small actions taken by each of us.
