Festivalul Copiilor in Craiova. 24 Aprilie- Impresii generale

În data de 24 Aprilie, în cadrul Școlii Gimnaziale nr. 14 “Ion Tuculescu” din Craiova a avut loc Festivalul Copiilor. Evenimentul a fost organizat la inițiativa tinerilor voluntari din Turcia care au venit în Craiova ca parte din Serviciul de Voluntariat European. Festivalul a fost susținut de Ambasada Turciei în București, Institutul Yunus Emre și Școala Gimnaziala nr 14 “ Ion Tuculescu”.

Cum a apărut această inițiativă ?

23 aprilie este o zi specială în Turcia, fiind celebrate Suveranitatea Națională și Ziua Copiilor. De ce aceste două evenimente sunt celebrate în acceași zi? «Pe 23 aprilie noi sărbătorim Ziua Copiilor și Suveranitatea Națională. Tatăl turcilor, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk a afirmat ca viitorul nostru îl reprezintă copiii și parlamentul, de aceea el a trasnformat această zi într-un cadou pentru copii », spune Ramazan Safa, care a fost unul dintre coordonatorii proiectului.

«Este foarte bine să ne dezvoltăm într-un mediu multicultural. Faptul că este un eveniment cu ocazia zilei copiilor turci și că o sărbătorim aici, în Craiova în această zi, mi s-a părut o idee extraordinară», a spus reprezentantul institutului Yunus Emre.

Ebru, mâncatul iaurtului, meci de fotbal și alte atracții

Festivalul a fost deschis cu scurte discursuri ale reprezentanților școlii, asociației « Tinerii 3D » și Institutului Yunus Emre. Apoi a urmat spectacolul copiilor din școală, care au cântat cântece românești tradiționale și au dansat pe ritmuri moderne. Spectatorii au avut parte de asemenea și de un dans tradițional turcesc prezentat de voluntarii turci.

Cu ajutorul membrilor echipei de wrestling din Craiova, participanții la eveniment au putut urmări câteva performanțe de wrestling și antrenamente de box. O altă atracție a fost reprezentată de un concurs de wrestling între unul dintre voluntarii turci și directorul unității de învățământ.

În cele ce au urmat, o mulțime de activități i-au așteptat pe copii, printre care cursa cu ouă în lingură, cursa cu saci, jocul de spargere a baloanelor și concursul de kendama. La unul dintre standuri, copii au putut fi pictați pe față, ei având posibilitatea de a alege modelul dorit. Dintre toate aceste jocuri, probabil cel mai popular a fost cel cu iaurt- copiii au trebuit să mănânce iaurt fără să folosească mâinile.

Datorită Institutului Yunus Emre din București, copiii au putut urmări cum un artist creează ebru- artă tradițională turcească de a crea modele colorate prin stropirea și amestecarea pigmenților de culoare într-un recipient cu apa și ulei, pentru ca mai apoi modelul să fie transferat pe hârtie. Copiii au avut posibilitatea să încerce și ei acesta artă.

O parte importantă a Festivalului a fost reprezentată de jocul final al campionatului de fotbal la copii. Membrii echipelor au primit medalii de participare și echipa câștigatoare a primit un trofeu. Invitatul special al acestei competiții a fost Alex Mateiu- jucător român de fotbal, mijlocaș la Universitatea Craiova, care a fost primit cu mare entuziasm de către copii.

«Am avut colaboratori extraordinari prin voi [Tinerii 3D] și voluntarii turci. Aceștia au creat de când au venit în cadrul școlii noastre activități uimitoare, apreciate de copii și de profesori »-a spus directorul Școlii Gimnaziale nr 14 «Ion Țuculescu» din Craiova.

«Suntem bucuroși să vă avem drept parteneri la acest eveniment și sper ca pe viitor o să continuăm parteneriatul, pentru că este apreciat de părinți și copii», a adăugat el.

Evenimentul a atras cu siguranță atenția și interesul nu doar al copiilor, ci de asemenea și al profesorilor și părinților. Voluntarii au muncit din greu să creeze un eveniment cât mai frumos și captivant pentru copii, acțiunile acestora fiind răsplătite prin zâmbetele și cuvintele de apreciere din partea celor mici.

On 24th of April in Scoala Gimnaziala nr 14 “Ion Tuculescu” in Craiova took place Children’s Festival. The event was organized on the initiative of volunteers from Turkey who came to Craiova as part of the European Voluntary Service. The Festival was supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bucharest, Instytut Yunus Emre and Scoala Gimnaziala nr 14 “Ion Tuculescu” in Craiova.

Where the idea came from?

23rd April in Turkey is a special day. On this day National Sovereignty and Children’s Day is celebrated. Why those two holidays are celebrated on the same day? “On 23^rd of April in Turkey we celebrate Children’s and National Sovereignty Day. The Father of Turks Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said that children are our future and also parliaments are our future so this is why he gave this day as a gift to the children ” says Ramazan Safa, one of the coordinators of the event.

“It is very good to develop ourselves on a multicultural way. The fact that it is an event for the Children’s Day from Turkey and we celebrate it here, in Craiova, it seemed to me a nice activity” – said the representative from Instytut Yunus Emre.

Ebru, eating yoghurt, football match and other attractions

The Festival started with short speeches from the representatives of the school, Tinerii 3D and Instytut Yunus Emre. It was followed by the performance of the children from school that sang traditional Romanian songs and showed modern dances. The audience also got acquainted with one of the traditional Turkish dances presented by the Turkish volunteers.

Thanks to the members of the local wrestling sports club the participants of the Festival could watch some wrestling performance and boxing training. Another attraction was a wrestling game between one of the Turkish volunteers and the principal of the school.

After this part a lot of different attractions awaited for the children like tug of war, egg and spoon race, sack race, exploding balloons game and kendama contest. On one of the stand kids could have their faces painted in various designs. From all of the attractions probably the most popular game was yoğurt yeme – eating yoghurt without the use of hands.

Thanks to the Instytut Yunus Emre from Bucharest the kids could watch how an artist makes ebru – the traditional Turkish art of creating colourful patterns by sprinkling and brushing colour pigments onto a pan of oily water and then transferring the patterns to paper, and children could also try to make their own art in this way.

The important part of the Festival was the final match of the kids’ football tournament. The members of teams received medals for participation and the winning team received a trophy. The special guest for this was Alex Mateiu – Romanian football player, midfielder in Universitatea Craiova who was warmly welcomed by the children.

“We had extraordinary collaborators through you [Tinerii 3D] and the Turkish volunteers. They created since they joined our school some amazing activities, liked by the kids and by the teachers” – said the principal of the Scoala Gimnaziala nr 14 “Ion Tuculescu” in Craiova.

“We are glad to have you [Tinerii 3D] as partners at this event and I hope that in the future we will remain like this, because the children and parents loved it” – he added.

The event surely caught attention and interest not only of the children but also teachers and parents. Team of volunteers worked hard to make the even as great and entertaining for children as possible – the smiles and positive words from children showed that all of the effort was worth it.
