Kick-Off Meeting in Spain – Launching the Erasmus+ Project “ChoosE YoUrself”

Between 2–5 May 2025, representatives of Asociația Tinerii 3D took part in the official kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project “ChoosE YoUrself”, hosted in Cambrils, Spain by our partners from Jóvenes de Cambrils para el Mundo.

This strategic partnership brings together organizations from Italy, Spain, and Romania, united by the mission to empower young NEETs (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) aged 20–25, helping them build self-confidence, explore their purpose, and make informed life and career choices.

🤝 Strengthening the Partnership

The meeting was an opportunity for all partners – LUMiA ETS (Italy – coordinator), Jóvenes de Cambrils para el Mundo (Spain), and Asociația Tinerii 3D (Romania) – to work together on the project implementation plan, clarify roles, and coordinate upcoming activities.

Main topics covered during the meeting included:

  • Planning the Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) in Italy
  • Designing the Decision-Making Toolkit and educational content
  • Coordinating the podcast series “Bending the Street” featuring real stories from youth
  • Preparing the online mentoring sessions and national workshops
  • Dissemination and long-term sustainability strategies

The partners also explored practical approaches in non-formal education to help NEETs improve emotional regulation, reduce anxiety about the future, and strengthen decision-making capacity.

🧭 Our Role in the Project

Tinerii 3D will contribute actively to the development and testing of project materials, lead the implementation of local training activities in Romania, and support the storytelling component aimed at increasing NEETs’ motivation and visibility.

We are committed to ensuring that this project makes a real impact in our community by offering young people valuable tools, emotional support, and the belief that choosing yourself is the first step forward.
