“Let’s do it together – a green future for our planet” at the end

The project “Let’s do it together – a green future for our planet” with № 2022-1-BG01-KA151-YOU-000065456 was implemented in partnership with “Bokaya” association, Bulgaria and “Tinerii 3D” association, Romania. Project period 01.06.2022-31.08.2023

The main goal of the project was achieved, namely: promoting the use of innovative mechanisms to increase public sensitivity to environmental issues and climate change, by building and strengthening the capacity of young people for effective climate change planning and management.

  During the implementation of the project in the city of Vidin, the following activities were implemented:

• “Youth exchange”, in which 14 young people each from Bulgaria and Romania took part, accompanied by their leaders. Youth mobility period: 28.05.2023-14.06.2023.
• “Professional development of youth workers”, where 2 persons each from Bulgaria and Romania took part in the period 17.06.2023-30.06.2023.

During the implemented activities, the participants shared their experience and ideas with the aim of mastering new knowledge and skills for the creation and improvement of the existing mechanisms for the inclusion of young people in the “green” practices and policies of Europe.  

The young people acquired skills and competences, such as critical thinking and finding alternatives to solve problems, which would also be valuable for their personal development.
