Last week, 26 passionate participants from Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Turkey, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, and Spain gathered for an inspiring Training Course: Let’s Draw! organized by Association CIK / Cirkus La Bulle in partnership with Tinerii 3D. The course was guided by experienced trainers Špela and Urška, who brought their expertise and enthusiasm to every session.
🖌️ What was it all about?
The participants dove into the colorful world of graphic facilitation, learning how to turn complex ideas into simple, engaging visuals. It was all about creativity, connection, and a splash of fun!
💡 Highlights of the week:
Day 1: 🌍 Icebreakers, cultural exchanges, and sketching first impressions. A fun and engaging start where everyone shared a little about their background and artistic styles, laying the foundation for collaboration and creativity.
Day 2: 🖊️ Basics of graphic facilitation: markers, colors, layouts, and simple sketches. The group learned the core principles of visual facilitation, experimenting with basic shapes and layouts to create clear and effective visuals that convey meaning.
Day 3: ✏️ Diving deeper into typography, figures, shadows, and the hirameki clouds method. Participants explored more advanced techniques, including adding depth and dimension to their visuals, refining their typography skills, and learning the art of transforming random shapes into creative illustrations.
Day 4: 🎨 Art intervention in the Slovenian community – connecting culture with creativity. The group stepped outside to experience Slovenian culture firsthand, using their newly acquired skills to create artwork in public spaces, making their mark and celebrating the local community.
Day 5: 📑 Practicing graphic facilitation, presenting projects, and designing creative games. Participants applied what they had learned by designing and presenting their own visual projects, and came up with interactive games that utilized graphic facilitation techniques to engage and entertain.
Day 6: 🤝 Using visuals for networking and building lasting connections! On the final day, the group focused on how graphic facilitation can be used as a tool for networking and relationship-building, helping to create stronger connections within the group and spark future collaborations.
